We believe magic happens when people gather around a table.
Based in historic Franklin, Tennessee, Picnic Popup is a unique, luxury picnic experience. We’re on a mission to bring people together to celebrate life’s special moments.
HOW IT WORKS
Choose from our themed picnics or work with us to create something. Your special event includes a fully-styled tables cape with place settings, fresh flowers and themed décor. Work with our catering partner or bring your own food. Add special touches like a personalized sign or pro photographer. We handle all setup and cleanup. You just show up and enjoy!

LOCATION
We can set up just about anywhere, from your own back yard to a park with a perfect view. You pick the place. We’ll make it memorable. Please note that most public parks have a no-alcohol policy. We follow all rules and regulations for the chosen locations.
Picnics within 20 miles of Nashville includes complimentary delivery. If your destination is outside that radius or if you have additional location questions, please contact us.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's the little things that matter
So we've tried to think of everything. Each picnic comes with an essentials basket that includes a mirror, hand sanitizer, bottle opener, wet wipes, garbage bag, bug spray and sunscreen.
COVID: Your safety and comfort is very important to us. All picnic popup surfaces are cleaned and disinfected following CDC guidance. If you have any question or concerns please contact us and we will answer any of your questions.
Is food included?
No. We want you to have full control over the best way to accommodate your guests’ appetites and any food restrictions. We have an exclusive catering partner that has created a few special items for Picnic PopUp or you can bring your own food.
What about alcohol?
Alcohol is not permitted in public parks. If it’s a private location, you are welcome to include alcohol in your plan and we can provide glassware to accommodate it.
Can I customize my popup?
Yes! We have four amazing themed picnics you can choose from, but if you have a special request we’d be happy to work with you.
Do I need a permit?
That depends on the location you choose. If there’s a special spot you want, we will let you know if there’s a permit or anything special needed.
What if my location is outside of Nashville?
Picnics within 20 miles of Nashville includes complimentary delivery. If your destination is outside that radius or if you have additional location questions, please contact us.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least a week out so you have the ability to choose your desired date and time.
What happens if it rains?
We can’t refund your booking, but in case of rain we’d be happy to reschedule your popup to another date or set up in an indoor location.
Can I use your setup for a photo shoot?
